Hercules - the Musical

Alfons-Jung-Saal - Kellerstraße 37, Wiesbaden, Deutschland

Twelve labours. One demigod. No supervision worth the name.

The strongest man who ever lived is handed a list of twelve impossible tasks and absolutely no useful advice. Olympus watches from a safe distance, offers nothing, and takes notes.

What you get: a hero with the physical capability of a small army and the planning instincts of a Labrador. A goddess conducting three thousand years of vengeance at a volume the target never once picks up. A King of Mycenae running the entire operation from inside a large buried jar, who would prefer not to be disturbed. And a narrator who is deeply, personally offended that a show called Hercules keeps having to mention a man named Heracles.

There are songs. Several people warned us.

Kryptonite Radio Theater has been performing live radio plays in Wiesbaden since 2010. No set, no visuals, everything made out of voices and live sound effects - which is doing several of the monsters a considerable favour.

Grab your seat.
